Desk Build

This custom pine desk was built as a one-off piece designed to combine clean woodworking with modern functionality. The solid pine top features integrated LED light inlays and a recessed power bar, allowing lighting and power access to be built directly into the workspace without visible cords or clutter.

The desk is mounted to a motorized sit-stand base, allowing the height to be adjusted easily for both sitting and standing use. A full-width four-foot push-to-open drawer is built into the underside of the desk, providing hidden storage while keeping the exterior lines of the piece simple and uninterrupted.

The wood surface was finished with a white wash to highlight the natural grain of the pine while keeping the overall tone light and clean, followed by a clear protective coat for durability. Careful layout and installation were used throughout the build so the lighting, hardware, and storage integrate naturally into the desk rather than feeling added on.
